Even though she has been through a lot, the moment when she found out about her child's death will always be her worst memory. For every parent it is natural that their children will live much longer that them. And when it doesn't happen it may cause depression, rupture of a marriage. “You lose a part of yourself,” Ms. Giotta said.
In my opinion the loss of a child is the worst thing that can happen to anyone. When the older member of a family dies although it is painful we can cope with that , by thinking it is the natural order of things. When someone who is supposed to live longer than us passes away it can upend everything , make us feel unsafe because there is no order, anyone can pass away anytime, make us hate the world because it seems totally unfair.
